Hello! My name is Jaxson Guy. I am 20 years old, and I have been doing photography since the beginning of high school. I joined AVP, a video and photography class that covered the ins and outs of media, and it wasn't until my second year in the program that I learned the value of visual storytelling and fell in love with photography. Today, I'm working hard to slow down, be more present in the moment, and truly appreciate and value the people and things I love.
In 2023, I decided to opt out of college and pursue my true passion: photography. After graduating from College Station High School in 2024, I launched BrightLight Media. Since then, I have had the opportunity to work with many different people and families. The best part of the job is being able to see people smile and watch them feel at ease during their sessions. Hearing people's stories, understanding where they come from, and learning about their passions is always inspiring and pushes me to work harder.In a world that can seem grim at times, it's important to me that everyone feels heard and listened to. I'm here to bring a unique vision that helps showcase your beauty.
Outside of photography, I manage a Smoothie King. There, I have had the opportunity to meet some amazing people, one of whom is my lovely and beautiful girlfriend, Gaby. I also love anime—my favorite is MHA! I enjoy video games and basketball as well. If you can beat me in a 1v1, I'll give you a discount :)
I've always enjoyed trying many different things and gaining as much experience from life as possible. The crazier or more difficult a task may seem, the more exciting and interesting it becomes to me. I never want to stop growing, I always want to make you smile, and I will always strive to deliver amazing photos.
So many people are incredibly bright, and everyone has a beautiful smile. I just believe that in today's day and age, it's easy to forget that. Through photography, I hope to help people love themselves and their smiles a little more while creating memories they can look back on for years to come.
